This article describes how to replace a roll of receipt paper and the type of paper you need for the following terminals.
VeriFone VX 680
Type of paper: thermal paper rolls, 2.25 inches wide, 50 feet long.
- Pull the latch on the bottom of the terminal and lift open the paper cover.
- Remove the old paper roll, if one is present.
- Drop a new paper roll into the tray. The leading edge of the paper should be on the bottom and feed toward the top of the terminal.
- Pull the leading edge of the paper about one inch or until all glue residue is past the edge of the terminal.
- Close the paper cover.
VeriFone VX 520
Type of paper: thermal paper rolls, 2.25 inches wide, 50 feet long.
- Flip open the paper roll cover.
- Remove the old paper roll, if one is present.
- Drop a new paper roll into the tray. The leading edge of the paper should be on the bottom and feed toward the screen on the terminal.
- Pull the leading edge of the paper about one inch or until all glue residue is past the edge of the terminal.
- Close the paper cover.
Hypercom T4220, T4210, and T4205
Type of paper: thermal paper rolls, 2.25 inches wide, 85 feet long.
- Flip open the paper roll cover.
- Remove the old paper roll, if one is present.
- Drop a new paper roll into the tray. The leading edge of the paper should be on the bottom and feed toward the terminal's screen, as shown in the illustration in step 3 of the VeriFone VX 520 section above.
- Pull the leading edge of the paper about one inch or until all glue residue is past the edge of the terminal.
- Close the paper cover.
