Do you want the option to print or email receipts after each transaction? This article describes how to turn on receipts in the QuickSale mobile app.
What do you want to do?
Enable email receipts
- Log in to the QuickSale app.
Note: If you don't have the QuickSale app, please see Set up a CHARGE Anywhere mobile solution.
- Tap Config > Setup > Receipt Options > Email Options.
- Tap Email Receipt to turn on the option to send your customers receipts via email after each successful transaction.
- Tap Email Decline Receipt to turn on the option to send your customers receipts via email after each declined transaction.
- Enter a subject for the receipt email in the Subject field. We suggest you identify your business and state that the email message is a receipt.
- Tap Email Method and one of the following options.
- CHARGE Anywhere: Select this option to send receipts using the QuickSale app's email feature.
- Device Email: Select this option to send receipts using your mobile device's default email app.
- If you selected CHARGE Anywhere as the email method in the previous step, tap Default From and enter an email address. Email receipts will appear to come from this email address.
- Tap Save.
Tip: You can help reduce transaction disputes and chargebacks if your receipts clearly identify your business and refund policy. To do so, please see Customize receipt text in CHARGE Anywhere's QuickSale mobile app.
Enable paper receipts for customers and merchants
- Log in to the QuickSale app.
Note: If you don't have the QuickSale app, please see Set up a CHARGE Anywhere mobile solution.
- Tap Config > Setup > Receipt Options > Print Options.
- Tap Approved Copies > [the type of receipt(s) you want to print] > Back.
- Tap Declined Copies > [the type of receipt(s) you want to print] > Back.
- Tap Ask Print Cust Receipt if you want to choose whether to print or not print a customer's receipt after each transaction.
- Tap Save.
