If you subscribe to any of our Virtual Terminal solutions, follow the steps in this article to get your computer ready, activate your Transaction Manager account, and set up additional features that are included in your subscription.
- Connect your USB Magstripe Card Reader to your computer.
- If you want to print paper receipts, connect a printer to your computer.
- Visit Transaction Manager
on the computer you will use as your virtual terminal.
What is Transaction Manager? Transaction Manager, powered by CHARGE Anywhere, is a web-based virtual terminal that enables you to accept payments using your computer.
- Enter your username and password, which CHARGE Anywhere sent you in separate email messages when you subscribed to a Virtual Terminal solution. If you can't find those email messages, please check your spam or promotions folder or contact our Client Services team at 800-787-4105 or sos@taluspay.com.
- Click Login.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to confirm your identity. You'll be asked to enter a security code, which will be sent to the email address on your account, and to complete your security profile. After your identity is confirmed, your Transaction Manager account is activated and the login screen opens.
- Depending on which Virtual Terminal subscription you have, you may need to complete a couple more steps to set up your virtual terminal. For details, please see the section below that corresponds to your Virtual Terminal subscription.
Virtual Terminal (basic)
If you followed the setup steps at the top of this article, your virtual terminal is ready to use. To get started, see Accept payments in Virtual Terminal.
Virtual Terminal Plus with Recurring Billing
To schedule recurring payments for a customer, see Schedule recurring payments.

Virtual Terminal with Bill Presentment
Complete the following steps to activate the bill presentment feature so your clients can receive and pay your bills online.
- Log in to Transaction Manager
if you aren't already logged in.
- Click Virtual Terminal > Bill Presentment > Bill Presentment Setup.
Notice the Bill Presentment Setup page includes several fields that you can use to customize the appearance of your bills, but you don't need to do that now.
- Click Update (even though you didn't change anything) to activate bill presentment.
Your clients can now receive and pay bills online.
