This article describes how to refund (or return) settled credit and signature debit transactions and cash transactions in CHARGE Anywhere's QuickSale mobile app.
What do you want to do?
Refund credit and signature debit payments
- Log in to the QuickSale app.
- From the QuickSale screen, tap Logs > Archives > [an archive].
- Tap the desired transaction.
- Tap Actions > Refund > Submit.
- Tap Yes when you're prompted to confirm the refund.
- If you enabled receipts, a paper receipt automatically prints if a printer is connected to your mobile device. To email a receipt, enter the customer's email address and tap Send. (If you aren't prompted to create a receipt, please see Email and print receipts for prior transactions in the QuickSale mobile app.)
Refund cash payments
- Log in to the QuickSale app.
- Tap Cash > Refund.
- Enter the Amount.
- Tap Actions > Submit.
- Tap OK when you're prompted to confirm the refund.
- If you enabled receipts, a paper receipt automatically prints if a printer is connected to your mobile device. To email a receipt, enter the customer's email address and tap Send.
