Generating an API Key on NMI

1. Log into NMI.
2. Click on My Settings in the top right.
3. Select Security Keys.
4. Select option to create either a private key or a public key.
5. In pop-up box:
   • Key Name- Input whatever you’d like to name this key.
   • Choose username associated with this key.
   • If you are generating a private key, there are 2 check boxes. One for API and one for cart (i.e., shopping cart). You can choose one or both.
   • If you are generating a public key, there is a dropdown named ‘Key Permission’. You can choose between tokenization or checkout.
6.  Click Create button.
7. Once created, a key will be generated, and you can copy the link and place wherever you need it.
8. To access the key after creation, click on My Settings in the top right.
9. Select Security Keys. It will be saved here.
