Generating an API Key on Authorize.net

1. To generate API Key, log in to Authorize.net
2. Click on Account.
3. Select API Credentials & Keys.
4. Click the bubble for New Transaction Key and press Submit.
5. A pop-up will appear → Click Request PIN. You will receive an email with this PIN.
6. Once the email is received, enter the PIN number into the box and select Verify PIN.
   • After this, you should see a screen with a checkmark saying, Identity Verified.
7. Select continue and the following will pop up:
   • Current API Login ID – There is a prepopulated field you have to use
   • Current Transaction Key – This is the API key.
8. Select Copy to Clipboard, and you may now place this API key wherever it is needed.

*You MUST copy the key at this point or you will have to start over and create a brand new key, and copy it here.
